Abstract

High availability (HA) systems are critical in today’s IT environments, where downtime can result in significant financial losses and operational disruptions. VMware technologies have emerged as a leading solution for building resilient and fault-tolerant infrastructures. This manuscript explores the development of high availability systems using VMware technologies, focusing on VMware vSphere, VMware NSX, and VMware Site Recovery Manager. It delves into the principles of high availability, key features of VMware tools, and best practices for implementation. By analyzing real-world use cases, this study highlights the benefits, challenges, and future directions in achieving robust high availability with VMware technologies.
