Abstract

Hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) systems have emerged as a pivotal technology for modern IT environments, combining storage, compute, and networking into a unified system. However, the integration of these components introduces unique challenges in ensuring data security. This manuscript explores the landscape of data security in HCI systems, identifies prevalent vulnerabilities, and provides strategies for mitigating risks. Using a combination of statistical analysis and case studies, this paper evaluates the effectiveness of encryption, access controls, and monitoring tools in protecting data. The findings emphasize the importance of a multi-layered security approach to safeguard critical assets in hyper-converged environments.
