Abstract

Nutrient recovery plays a pivotal role in enhancing algal lipid and protein yields, which are critical for biofuel production and sustainable food sources. This study explores the effects of nutrient recovery techniques, such as recycling nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater, on the growth and biochemical composition of microalgae. Results show significant improvement in lipid and protein content, optimizing conditions for biofuel and bioproduct development. The findings provide a pathway for sustainable nutrient management, aligning environmental conservation with industrial goals.
