The removal of heavy metals from wastewater is a critical environmental challenge. Electrochemical methods, such as electrodeposition, electrocoagulation, and electrooxidation, have emerged as effective technologies due to their high efficiency, eco-friendliness, and adaptability. This study evaluates key electrochemical parameters influencing heavy metal removal, including electrode material, current density, pH, and reaction time. By systematically reviewing existing literature and conducting experimental assessments, this research highlights the optimal conditions for achieving maximum removal efficiency. The findings provide a comprehensive framework for designing and optimizing electrochemical systems tailored for industrial applications.
