Abstract

Sustainable energy isolation is critical for ensuring safety in bioprocess management, particularly in high-risk industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, and biofuels. This study explores energy isolation strategies that align with sustainable development goals while maintaining operational safety in bioprocess systems. Key methods such as LockoutTagout (LOTO), energy-efficient containment technologies, and renewable energy integration are analyzed. A case study approach evaluates the effectiveness of these methods in minimizing hazards and improving energy efficiency. Results show that incorporating sustainable practices in energy isolation enhances safety compliance operational sustainability. Recommendations for future research include advanced digital monitoring systems and lifecycle analysis of isolation tools.
